The beaver came to say hello, the Osprey nest was being guarded by the parents, and the ducks are nesting in the reeds.
Looks like summer out there!

First Paddle of the Season at Sparks Lake. There was more water than I have ever seen in 26 years of visiting there. As the sun sank behind the Sisters Mountains, the reflections of the sunset went from the clouds on to the water and it became a vivid wash of pinks and oranges on every side.
